The Music Thread Strikes Back

To be fair to Sophie Ellis Bextor - Groovejet and Murder on the Dancefloor are fine pop songs.

bextor was better than the KCs, it was more an observation as to why she (and they) should be getting the national airplay that far better music never will.

I don't know groovejet and the other one is only just passable for me. she's hardly betty boo.

the compilation of the Folk Devils early releases reissued on Beautiful Monsters. available from decent record stores

there's no mystery don't bother to call
between the light switch and night fall
a greasy painting and a cultivated sneer
broken nose drips in dead flat beer
cancelled eyes signify defeat
stored dreams drag next to buckled feet

The new Meshuggah album is really rather good. So good that I think I'm going to listen to it again straight away in fact.

New KoL out today and straight to Spotify.

That's this afternoons work soundtrack sorted.

My rather unusual music choice today is the soundtrack to Red Dead Redemption.

It's awesome!
