The Music Thread Strikes Back

Tremendous stuff Stu. Met with a seal of approval from othe other half too! Thanks.

How many on here use Spotify? We should connect through that, would love to see some more mixes.

Sisters of Mercy announce 4 shows. I know some on here like em.

i was a massive sisters fan - in the 80's, with their proper line up and the feeling they had some relevance. of course it helped that I had hair then as well.

i never felt the urge to see them after the split tbh.

saw diiv this week - very good I thought but was surprised how popular they were (with the youngsters that is!)

Dave Grohl's broken his leg on stage tonight apparently.

Florence better not fucking turn into a headliner at Glastonbury.

Pics on Twitter of him playing on while a Paramedic sorts out his injury!

Yeah, Grohl seems the type who'd play from a wheelchair if he had to.

They'll still do Glastonbury hopefully. Looking forward to seeing them.

I Should Coco is still a fabulous album. Just listening to it again now.

Gaz Coombes has done a new Spotify session, I'll get round to listening to it this week.

I found his two solo albums rather dull to be honest.

They're definitely 7/10 affairs more than must listens, but they were decent enough.

That's the beauty of Spotify etc these days I suppose. Had I bought those two at a tenner apiece maybe I wouldn't bother with the third. But I will now.

Frank Turner has announced a November tour.

For the die hard metal loving peeps on here, Steve Harris British Lion have also announced a tour with a birmingham date in August.
