The Music Thread Strikes Back

I do have Spotify, it's how I try out most of the songs that are on this thread!

How about anyone who wants to help puts it on a playlist for you? You can then listen to the songs and decide if you like and delete as appropriate?

I'd love to help, can you give me a list of your top ten fave songs/bands and the same For the better half?

Johnny, what sort of music do you both like?

also, real life - Joan as policewoman would be great for a wedding. amazing song and all about commitment!

More chilled as its between ceremony/ meal and meal/ evening reception. Although dance music suggestions for the evening will not be ignored :)

Cheers Nimrod and DDW just the type of thing I was after. I have The War on Drugs in there too.

Jolemai - is that the most depressing thing you could find? Did make me look at Sigur Ros's other stuff though.
It was played before that scene in the "Red Wedding" episode of Game of Thrones. It could be amusing to see how many people looked worried whilst it was playing.

For a serious suggestion, how about Fever Ray?

belle & Sebastian is a good call. dirty dream no 2.

Kel got me their latest record for bday. Pleasantly surprised. Moved on from The Boy With...

Six Underground - The Sneaker Pimps

Johnny, what sort of music do you both like?

As with NWW, we have a wide range of tastes. Bear's suggestion of Sneaker Pimps stuff and DDW's Morcheeba are the type of thing, I went and found some Portishead too. She likes a bit of gentle house music like the Cafe Del Mar stuff but we both like the Zero 7 suggestion.

I personally like stuff such as the War on Drugs, Jamie T, The XX so stuff like that would be great for me. I'm staying away from Mumble and Sins but don't mind some funky folky stuff. I would crowbar some Chemical brothers in there if I could!

NWW; I'll give Belle and Sebastian a listen

In The Waiting Line is a favourite if mine for Zero 7.
