I haven't watched either of them in years, but Jesus... What a couple of humourless self-righteous knobs. Both look like they need to lay off the sauce too
Look like the majority of British immigrants over there tbf.

I get the Mendes stuff but the backroom staff part is a bit weird. Why would you not want to pay for and invest in that side of it, his backroom team is vital and one of the reasons we were so succeful and injury free (the last season aside) in the grand scheme of things it's not going to cost that much per year - there will be players at Everton that probably make more or the same as what all of them would make put together

It's a red herring imo. You don't get that far and then what would have been known at the outset becomes the stumbling block. If it's that side of things it'll be around who Everton want him to keep I'd have thought

I don't think he is that fussed about returning to work that quickly. In a position where he can ask for things he wouldn't if he was deperate to return.
At both clubs they have had staff they don't want to remove but he has probably requested his own team take those roles, which leave Everton with the task of finding a job for Big Dunc as no one will tell him he is sacked or demoted. Probably an issue at Everton with Brands, as we know Nuno here had the final say on transfers he isn't going to get that fully at Everton.
He is still earning from us, he has an agent that can get you decent jobs even after 6 months-12 months of doing nowt so for me, he is trying it on for a few things because, why not. You want him now this is what it costs and the demands are there.
If he was desperate to get work he would be at Palace or Everton now and Ian Cathro and a couple of others would be thinking Nuno has changed his number as they can't contact him anymore.

Yep. There’s no way the back room team is a problem. João Lapa isn’t on mega bucks for being a glorified physio/PT.

I also doubt it’s “I’m not taking the job if Dunc is still there”. Not exactly an issue is it.

Will just be a multitude of factors. Most likely excessive financial demands, issues with Mendes/transfers or Everton just thinking he’s not all that great so we’re not that interested. You should be bending over for us not the other way round etc.

Can just get a different pragmatic manager (Benitez) for less hassle (except fan outrage) with a better CV.

Spurs seem to be making a right mess of their search. The way they binned Jose (6 days before the exact type of game they employed him for) it seemed they had his replacement ready to go the moment the season ended.

Mendes is having a fun summer isn't he!

Can't believe Juno has lost the palace and Everton jobs because of a backroom team. Seems he has a bit of a 'bob' on about something and maybe that is what started his situation at wolves, who finally said , ala palace and the toffees well fucknoff then!
