Enthusiasm can be the only thing. That and being available, knowing the league and “will he get more points than Mike Stowell”. Whether that’s more than Rodgers would have e a seperate debate.

Mick and Clipboard have left Blackpool by mutual consent.

Its never been Mick's style to call it quits. His greatest strength is his greatest weakness.

He knows he is done. I hope that is it now. Still love what he did but hopefully that’s retirement now

Whatever he does with the rest of his career doesn’t tarnish his impact here, surely?

Apparently Reading fans are delighted by that news.

Heading fast for L1 and apparently the king of talking shit (worse than Lage)

On the face of it though, harsh move. Can't sign anyone, 8 1st teamers out injured and the way the club is being ran has just got them a 6 point deduction that has put them in the bottom 3.

Reading had 21 points after 11 games so something has gone horribly wrong. Even with 6 points deducted after that kind of start they should be well clear of danger.

Losing players to injury and not being able to replace them hasn't helped.

Ince plays his part as well. It wasn't that long ago he was on National TV telling everyone that he didn't know what the transfer embargo meant when he agreed to take over. He found out on his first full day when he gave the Chairman a list of players he wanted.

Hearts sacked Robbie Nielson yesterday, sat 4th in the SPL. Not sure what they're expecting

Watford are apparently about to bin Wilder.

Unless they make the playoffs (unlikely) then his deal runs out in less than a month anyway. He was never staying if they didn't gatecrash the top six.

Maybe, just maybe, they should consider doing some long term planning.
