Ah. I see.

Hodgson really is going back in at Palace, hilarious
Didn't he only win 2 in 15 at Watford? If so, hardly the character to address their slide. & thought that there was a strong desire to move away from his *ahem* pragmatic style?

I think most football fans like Roy, despite having Kane taking corners for England, however I suspect the majority want to see Palace relegated after sacking Vierra. It’s a really risky appointment and I’d hope they go down even if we weren’t in the mix.

Is that the general consensus? I have basically no opinion on this sacking, didn't realise others felt so strongly.

Risky but their fixtures a pretty favourable from now on should get 10 points easily.

Yeah I'm there tbh, I think his sacking was outrageous tbh given their league position and recent fixtures

Most teams down the bottom are seeing nobody cast adrift so self preservation hopes that decisions like this are mis-steps that fill one place and make escape a bit easier.

I think they'll be ok because of their fixtures, I doubt that will be anything to do with Hodgson though even though he'll get the credit. They don't concede many so will scrape a couple of 1 0s.

Hodgson is a sort out the defence firefighter. Palace’s defence is fine. They have completely stopped scoring. Not sure it is the right fix. But their fixtures are definitely favourable in the run in.

They’ll approach the games in a safety first mindset which could go either way now whereas I would have backed them to win some of the favourable games quite comfortably. Will be interesting

I think it’s a bit of a shambles, but they’ll stay up with Roy like they would have done with Vieira. The long term planning is a joke though as what do they do next season?

On a positive to Wolves, we have more chance of beating Roy’s Palace than Patrick’s.

Sampaoli, Julen's successor at Sevilla, has also been sacked.

If Leicester have got any nous about them they'll offer him a massive wedge to go and manage them.

Spurs wanted him before he chose Bayern. Can see them trying again if he is available shortly
