The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2015/16

It is right, Unai Emery, now at Sevilla.

That's him, couldn't think of his name. I didn't realise Valencia had had so managers in between either, I don't follow Spanish much at all any more.

Reading are starting to stack up with managerial numbers their next one will be the fourth in a couple of years.

Effectively three different owners in that time though.

JFH confirmed at QPR. All other clubs should be quaking at the news that Warnock has left and is now available.

Just the type of man Jez would go for IMO

If we did (I doubt it) then that would leave me with a serious question as to whether to keep going every week. I can't stand Neil Warnock. Thankfully being crap at Leeds and Palace (plus being older than Frank) should rule him out.

If we do bin KJ before new owners, I can only see us going down the short term route and that makes the likes of Warnock an easy and simple target. Wouldn't want him anywhere near the place mind.

Would a Steve Clarke / Kevin Keen ticket appeal to Wolves board or fans?

Not for me. Similarly prosaic football as we're currently enduring with the same default to negativity. There's building on a solid defensive base, which I'm in favour of, and being awful to watch, which Clarke's teams generally are and we have been for most of the season.

Shame JFH has left for QPR. I'd have liked him to stay at Burton and get them up again. Two consecutive promotions from L2 upwards would surely look better on his CV than 12 months at QPR?

I wasn't surprised to see him go there though really. A lot of Burton fans and people I know couldn't understand why he'd go to them. But they're a huge club in this league, with a good squad of players and they'll have more money to spend than Burton would if they went up. Especially if they sell Phillips/Austin.

Plus he gets to live in London again and not, erm, Burton?

What Burton have going for them is the incredible facilities they have for training, but other than that QPR win in most comparisons. Obviously they have been bizarrely run for years now but I imagine JFH is confident he can do what other appointments haven't been able to.

Ramsey got dealt a decent hand really. Relegation wasn't really marked down to him and then they kept Austin, Phillips, Fer, Green against all expectations. He just wasn't very good.

If Pearson were to go to Reading that would remove all our runners and riders that had a general amount of approval with the exception of Justin Edinburgh (I'm not contemplating Rowett as realistic)

Wouldn't touch Pearson with a barge pole, tbh.

Who is/is not available right now (whether the consensus is good or bad on those individuals) is irrelevant as suspect it unlikely that there will be a vacancy unless things get a lot more precarious than they are at present.
