Steve Bruce's record since 1st January 2014:

P57 W12 D13 L32 Pts 49

You do wonder how on earth he "earned" a three year deal a couple of months ago.

Personally I'd expect Di Matteo at Newcastle if he comes to England again. He's exactly the sort of tabula rasa personality Mike Ashley would want (which isn't a good thing, obviously).

I expect Carver to go by Monday too. From our league I expect Dyche to go, he could possibly go to Newcastle.

Can't see Dyche leaving Burnley until he's forced out tbh.

If he is offered a return to the Prem he will take it. Nobbing around in the Championship with a small budget and relying on ex-Wolves players v another season in the Prem won't take much thinking about.

Maybe, but not sure why anyone would do that... He's more Ginger Moyes than Mourinho.

Ancelotti: "I said it in the press conference & I repeat: If I left Real Madrid, I'll stop for a year, I've other plans."
"And I will return home for another event: in a month, my grandson will be born. something that I cannot & don't want to miss."
"Italy ? I've always said and thought that if I were to return to Italy one day to train a club, it could only be for Milan."

Brendan Rodgers has said he will go if the owners want him to.

What Liverpool need is an ex player to revive their fortunes. Dean Saunders springs to mind...

Completely vacuous statement. Don't all managers leave if the owners want them to? It's called being sacked!

The perfect fit looks Jurgen Klopp and it looks more and more likely by the day.

Clough sacked by Sheffield United. Just goes to show that Cup runs are all very well and good in the moment, but it's the league that really counts

Right decision another average league campaign, should at least be challenging the top two.

Seeing as how Derby bottled out of promotion 2 years in a row then his dismissal was inevitable.

Inevitable is probably a bit strong but certainly understandable. Be interesting to see if the replacement can give them that bit extra or whether they end up even further away.
