Personally I'd expect Di Matteo at Newcastle if he comes to England again. He's exactly the sort of tabula rasa personality Mike Ashley would want (which isn't a good thing, obviously).
If he is offered a return to the Prem he will take it. Nobbing around in the Championship with a small budget and relying on ex-Wolves players v another season in the Prem won't take much thinking about.
Ancelotti: "I said it in the press conference & I repeat: If I left Real Madrid, I'll stop for a year, I've other plans."
"And I will return home for another event: in a month, my grandson will be born. something that I cannot & don't want to miss."
"Italy ? I've always said and thought that if I were to return to Italy one day to train a club, it could only be for Milan."
Inevitable is probably a bit strong but certainly understandable. Be interesting to see if the replacement can give them that bit extra or whether they end up even further away.
