The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2014/15

Tan has nothing to answer for. He has said nothing but the truth. If the FA charge him he should tell them to sling their hook.

Tan has made derogatory remarks about two other people at another football club. The FA have unlimited powers regarding what action they can take should Tan be charged and the charge be proven.

The FA will be terrified of Vincent Tan. He's playing a type of hardball that must make them yearn for the golden days of Alex Ferguson.

From the BBC site:

Tan also said there are more revelations to come surrounding Mackay's time at Cardiff.
"Mr Whelan and Wigan do not know yet what more is coming for this man they have just hired," he said. "They will, I believe, regret hiring him."

Good for Tan.

I do so love this sort of righteous fury coming down on someone.

They aren't derogatory at all. They are truth. If the truth hurts the FA needs to grow some and deal with that.

Whelans said today that if he's found guilty of the comments he's 'allegedlly' (his quotation marks not mine) said, even though they were in a press conference,he'll resign as Wigan chairman, and probably take his money home with him as well, and after seeing a comment on here about Orrell rugby,I googled it,and what a shit he is

Armin Veh has quit Stuttgart.

Stuttgart's start to the season has been abysmal. Like they say, never go back.

Bob Bradley's turned down IFK Gøteborg, apparently wanted to bring some of his own staff IFK said no.

Fans of all Football League clubs can breathe a little easier; looks like Owen Coyle is off to the MLS with Houston Dynamo.

Deep in god bothering territory. It'll suit him.

Hartlepool boss Paul Murray and assistant manager Willie Donachie have been sacked following defeat by Blyth

Not really surprising, but who can they bring in to try to preserve their league status?

Jeff Stelling?

They look pretty fooked right now though, a tough task for whoever fancies a few months in the North East

Craig Hignett is available and lives locally but he's probably out of their price range.
Saunders? Ince?
