Sky reckon Pardew's job is safe even if they lose at Swansea next week. The mind boggles. 19 points out of a possible 81 since Boxing Day.

Frank is advising Newcastle.

In my opinion Pardew needs to be kept on for the rest of his EIGHT year contract.

In fact, since Cabaye left:

Played 22
Won 4
Drawn 4
Lost 14
Points 16
Scored 16
Conceded 43
Clean Sheets 5
Failed to Score 14

Lost either 3 or 4 nil on eight occasions

Needs more time I reckon.

I did laugh last night when he applauded the away fans, who then proceeded to rant at him even more wildly. :icon_lol:

Got to love a proper overarm rant.

Yeah cabaye was pivotal for them..was the same when the got injured, they started losing and play bad

Freedman gone. Had to happen.

Dean Saunders. Bolton Wanderers.

Oooooh what a match that would be.

Emotional return for Phil Brown.

Frankly, Freedman had to go. His team were turning in unacceptable performances (from a Bolton perspective of course) every week. He recently described beating a poor Rotherham side in the last few minutes of a home game as "turning a corner".

I hear Dave Hockaday isn't busy at the moment.

Apparently they announced the news over the tannoy at Asda in Bolton :icon_lol:

Is Jerry St Clair working there?

I've always detected a bit of Den Perry in Gartside as well. It all fits.

They need someone who knows the Championship and who knows the north west.

Steve Kean.

I liked Dougie Freedman when he was at Wolves. Good player.

I never enjoy his post match interviews on TFLS though, he always looks really ill.

Cracking player. Slated by the 'his lazy' mob down here who wouldn't know a footballer if they smashed a ball in their face. See also Blake, Nathan and Burke, Mark.
