The Live Match Discussion Thread: 2019/2020

Fullback to fullback, great goal but more incredibly chronic defending.

I can't believe he came from one of the worst teams in MLS. We knew he was special, but not this special.

What on earth was Semedo doing though?

Think this will be the end of the road for Setien

Barca what a shambles need a rebuild I think

Horrible again there from Semedo.

I might have suggested him for us once, I take it all back.

Remember when a volcano stopped Lewandowski signing for Blackburn?

Barca senior players are as much a disgrace in this debacle I fancied Bayern before hand but this has been a white flag display since the 5th.

Utterly fabulous. I only wish I could have watched it happen live.

Who would have guessed that players coming together to get a manager sacked wouldn't have improved things?

They're all cunts, Messi included. I'll never forget him pelting a Madrid fan with a full force shot at the Bernabeu. But he's Messi, so no one pulled him up for it.

No he was just as much a shambles as anyone especially on the 6th goal really couldn’t give a shit. Semedo, de Jong, Pique, Alba, Busquets and Langlet were beyond bad bordering shameful.

I would 8-2 be a Barcelona fan right now.... [emoji1]

It was very Doherty 2014. Making no impact whatsoever, at least do something.

Your mate Sergio looking on his last legs... :D

Yeah, he’s on the way out. I need to get to a Barca game ASAP to watch him and Messi in the flesh :D

Ahem! I don't think you know your MLS history. Vancouver Whitecaps have been right up there until they fired Carl Robinson as coach two years ago. Which also reminds me that there is a Wolves connection with Alphonso Davies. Not just from me who first saw him as a future star on his debut four years ago when he displayed his inordinate speed and wonderful skills, but more importantly, he was nurtured by Carl Robinson (ex-Wolves) and then sold to Bayern for $17 million two years ago. Carl, of course, is now with Newcastle Jets in Australia but his role in the development of the "Fonz" should never be overlooked. Carl's a very good coach and Alphonso is an amazing player whom Europe is just getting to see, and he's only just turned 19!
