We need players to strengthen the squad it looks like the club has identfied players and are trying to get them in.

More than happy the give Fosun a bashing as their recent running of the club has been inept at best, however I do agree with Glasgow to some extent.

In an ideal world, every signing would
Just walk into a starting 11 and Improve a team. Football just doesn’t work like that.

Number 1 priority is the need for another starting CB. That looks to be sorted with the lad on route over.

VP wants another midfielder, one has been identified. I agree his career path does not cry 20million pound footballer. However I’d wager none of us know anything about him, apart from a google search. Also, our starting CM are, and I’d imagine would still be going forward Andre and Gomes. Whether we should be paying 20m on a squad player is another discussion, but same would apply to the lad from Ukraine.

Atleast we’re getting business done - said with the caveat that if none of these deals go through I will deleting this post and pretending I never wrote it!

The particular brand of player-centric negativity we fall into (self included; I’m no angel) is absolutely exhausting to me at this point. I’m over it, I really am.

Yeah, this forum collectively wrote off Dawson and Lemina when they signed and yet they proved to be good players for us for more than a season (until they weren't of course). I can't think of a single person who was still on Bellegarde Island until last match.

Winger - Was to replace Forbs. S'pose we now need him to get his head down and we should be grateful we haven't binned him without a replacement.

Forward - Will presume Larsen is OK and Vitor likes winding Deutsch up and Guedes is the official back up

I would say both of the above were long shots anyway. Key ones are getting these 2 players over the line to avoid another near total failure of a transfer window.

Whilst I’m no big fan of Guedes we looked far better with him up front than Strand Larsen. Far more movement.
