It was pretty clear Adams wasn’t going to be available given what is at stake for Saints so played poker with Chelsea for Broja and had a go for Yuri Alberto. Lost the poker game to Fulham, got stitched up by agents which was hardly a surprise and then it seems we ran out of ideas. I really hope it’s a case of getting the books in the best possible state ready for a sale.

Well, O'Neil's made it pretty clear that he's not in the "we don't need anybody, we're not going down and January is impossible" camp. Still, I'm sure bobbling around between 10th and 15th will be enough to keep Neto, Cunha, Gomes etc happy, and everything is fine. Gaz is just a spoiled little baby crying because he's not allowed sweets at the end of the day.
