Bueno may well become a better player but is still very inconsistent. Lot of smoke that RAN has personal issues, Toti has done ok but looks like a CH playing FB and Giles is questionable defensively. Unless his fitness has fallen off a cliff Cresswell offers more in the short term and Bueno will learn from him.Bueno is the better player.
No harm having Cresswell as back up if we hadn't got one but we've got 2 players who can back him up not including Jonny
I don't think Cresswell is better than Bueno right now.Bueno may well become a better player but is still very inconsistent. Lot of smoke that RAN has personal issues, Toti has done ok but looks like a CH playing FB and Giles is questionable defensively. Unless his fitness has fallen off a cliff Cresswell offers more in the short term and Bueno will learn from him.
Whether he is or not at £2.5m he’d be decent backup and better than the alternatives who could be sold to raise funds to be invested where our need is greater.I don't think Cresswell is better than Bueno right now.
Which would ask be true if we didn't have two other perfectly good back ups in the building.Whether he is or not at £2.5m he’d be decent backup and better than the alternatives who could be sold to raise funds to be invested where our need is greater.
Think I find myself right about here. I wouldn't want Cresswell starting every match but I think he can do the job when rotation is required. Experience isn't everything but it is something.Whether he is or not at £2.5m he’d be decent backup and better than the alternatives who could be sold to raise funds to be invested where our need is greater.
Spending £5m on Cresswell means that Jorge Mendes has become his agent.…
Spending £5m on Cresswell would be utterly bizarre. We already own several players who can play his position better.
I don't really care if we sell Giles. If we've decided that he doesn't fit, which is entirely possible as he hasn't been playing as a LB, and that we can get good value for him off the back of a good few seasons at Championship level then fine.
I don't particularly care if we sell Aït-Nouri either. There's a lot of talent there and there's a small part of me that wants him to make a comeback but again, if we've decided that his face doesn't fit and we can get good value then fine.
I wouldn't even care that much if we sold Bueno tbh at the reported £20M that Newcastle were linked with the other week. He's got potential but he's very inexperienced, if we feel that any offer outstrips that potential then we've got to accept it.
I do care about us wasting £5M on a soon to be 34 year old Aaron Cresswell.agree with all of this.
Whether he is or not at £2.5m he’d be decent backup and better than the alternatives who could be sold to raise funds to be invested where our need is greater.
Who are the two back ups?Which would ask be true if we didn't have two other perfectly good back ups in the building.
We shouldn't be solving problems we don't have, we've got enough that do.
If we get Elvedi for less than half his market value that will be some going tbf.I'd want to see some of that investment before I buy that this is the strategy
At least onceHas he ever been to Molineux?
Did he play in the battering of England there?Has he ever been to Molineux?
Really?Who are the two back ups?
