Origi being pushed out at Milan.
We have had links with him before so a possible loan bid from us?

If nothing else, guaranteed to score v Everton.

Think I find myself right about here. I wouldn't want Cresswell starting every match but I think he can do the job when rotation is required. Experience isn't everything but it is something.

Not a standout positive signing but a pragmatic one, IMO. I'm alright with it.
There's nothing pragmatic about it. The forward half is a dumpster fire about to light the whole house on fire. "Pragmatic" would be finding a hose to put that out now, not turning around and looking at your front door squeaking a bit and deciding actually, that needs a bit of oil first before you do anything else.

But the fire is miles from the house. It won’t get close to the house for at least a couple of weeks. Yes it needs putting out but not in such a way you flood the house unnecessarily.

PTS said our move for Cresswell indicated we want Bueno/Cresswell as our LB options next season. I wouldn't be completely against that (but £5m for Cresswell is mental money) as it would offer a nice balance of youth and experience. Cresswell is a solid PL player. Offers loads of experience and would very rarely let us down (similar to Dawson in that sense).

I don't think this necessarily means the end of RAN either. Lop has been playing RAN further forward and it wouldn't surprise me if he is used in that role this season (although we'll sell him if an acceptable offer comes in, I'm sure). He would also offer additional cover at LB in the unfortunate event that both Bueno/Cresswell are injured or suspended.

IF we sign Cresswell then I would say that almost certainly spells the end of Giles' Wolves career, though.

It's a traditional Cockney song.

Cockney music of that ilk is appalling btw.

Is it as vaguely sexual as it sounds?

Not sure I can force myself to watch anything described as “Cockney”… the cultural scars left by Dick van Dyke run deep innit.

Just Google Danny Dyer and your 'education' is complete

That Van Dyke accent was a fucking brilliant advert for dubbing foreign actors. They did it for Gert Frobe in Goldfinger and it would surely have been kinder to do the same for Van Dyke.
