Felipe and Lemina in by the weekend and the squads suddenly looking a lot stronger.

They’ll set us back about £20m, combined. Which I guess isn’t too much in this day and age.

Lemina is supposed to be £8m. Filipe was supposed to be included in the Cunha deal but never was.

Would imagine he's very little and just to free up a space.

I don't think there's question over his skill as a footballer, more a question of whether he's a good player.

I think most are agreed that we've looked best in a 442 formation - with that in mind, I wonder if there's any value in getting Fabio back from Anderlecht? He's clearly far from perfect, but if he's ever going to work I think that in a 442 linking with Cunha, we'll create chances, and I'd trust his movement and finishing (and pressing) a lot more than I do Raul and Costa.

Obviously in the ideal world we'd get a more developed striker in and letting him continue his development in Belgium, but if we fail to do that I think we'd benefit from having him back

Mario Lemina's mrs has posted something on Instagram that would indicate he's close to leaving Nice. There's another report doing the rounds saying the board are making a decision today.

Diario AS have linked us to Pablo Sarabia from PSG. He's got no goals in 19 appearances for PSG this season (mostly from the bench, tbf), but prior to this season he seemed to know where the net was on a fairly frequent basis.

Sarabia was quality for Sporting last season. Jota-esque inside forward/second striker with an eye for goal.

It was unsustainable having 13/14 players that you can rely on and then a mixtures of prospects and academy graduates. I was in the camp that you don't need to pay £x for bench fodder as its a waste of resources but that soon changes when you have one or two key injuries.

It'll be interesting how Loppers lines up his side on Saturday. He's effectively had a learn on the job pre-season in matches that count, rotating and using different systems but at some point you would think he'll settle into a system that suits best. I could be wrong though and he could continue to swap and change like he has done since he came in.

Yeah I like Sarabia, he's not the first player to waste a few years by going to PSG and he won't be the last, but he'd definitely improve us, he works hard and is technically excellent
