Lemina is a waste of time sort of signing. I just wouldn’t bother.

I disagree. He's not likely to come in and completely turn things around but you'd be comfortable bringing him on or starting him instead of Moutinho without a huge drop off. For the sake of 8-9 million it'd take, he'd be a decent squad player who can do a decent job in all 3 of our midfield roles. Without Traore we have no one to bring off the bench without significantly weakening the side.

With the Costa experiment not really working out, Raul out in the cold, Sasa crocked, and Fabio not coming back or ever likely to make it in the Prem anyway, how would we feel about trying to bring in Danny Ings in an attempt to help us score a few goals? Short term answer, maybe, but worth a punt if the price is right?
I`d take him, if only to stop him scoring against us.

The way we are set up currently I think he’d be the one pressing like Moutinho has been? In possession another player who can travel with the ball, which is what I kinda picture him as being quite good at but I can’t say I have actually watched him that many times
He's certainly a defensive midfielder. We need somebody far more attacking with guile as well as legs and he's definitely not it.

Just spend a bit more than that and buy someone actually fit for purpose. It would be 8-9 million down the toilet.

There was talk that we were interested in Isco, because of his previous Lopetegui connections. It has been two weeks now, since he has been a free agent and he seems to be finding it difficult to get signed by any European league club and only getting offers in Saudi Arabia, however, today it appears that Celta Vigo, from La Liga have shown an interest. In him. He was a top player, but is reported to a bad influence in the changing room and doesn't put enough effort in, in training sessions. Pleasantly supprised that Lopetegui gave him a miss this time.

One of the LA clubs are after him but wages seem to be a stumbling block on that deal happening

Yes, I heard that too, but he is hoping for one last chance in a top European league. He was a very talented footballer, but when you are not as good as you once were, you have to be prepared to knuckle down and put more effort in and not become more famous for tantrums and being a bad influence.

So Where's this good news that the ITKers were spouting about a few days ago?

Say you buy two for 20m each then you've got one sat on the bench most games alongside 100k a week Moutinho. I'd understand if we supported man united but we don't, you have to balance the squad and someone who is going to be solid in 2/3 positions is gold.

Apart from his career? He's played for Marseille, Juve and has been signed by 2 different premier league teams. Now I'm not suggesting he's a superstar but he's not some talentless chancer.

Looking at the appearances he's made for all his clubs seems like now at Nice is the closest he's ever come to holding down a first team spot all season. Never saw him he do anything at Juve to warrant being at a club like that, didn't look like he was a class above at Southampton or Fulham.

He's obviously not a complete sack of shit who you wouldn't trust to be on the pitch but he's an absolute nothing player from what I've seen of him. Stands around in near enough the right place most of the time and runs around a bit.

Guedes has played for Benfica, PSG and Valencia.
