Can he even come back? I thought loans had to be a minimum of window to window? I mean they could send him back, but not sure we could use him or loan him elsewhere. Not certain on that though
Wouldn't all loans have a clause covering emergency situations or a significant breakdown in a working relationship between the player and loan club ?
It's not as if it hasn't happened before surely .

You can't recall a player between windows but in the window you can do what you like including sell that player.

If Chiquinho did come back and play for us it means he can't play for anybody else as he will have played for 2 clubs and that's the limit.

He’d be like a new signing.

Silly question time, aren't the FFP limits much, much lower if the owners don't actually put any money into the club?

IIRC it's something like £5m per season

That would only happen if Fosun couldn't guarantee the £105m losses over the three seasons.

If that is the case they're in deep trouble as a company and I'm pretty sure the authorities take a very dim view of companies lying to their customers. Directors have been barred for such actions.

O'Rourke who isn't as reliable as he was, but is still better than most says City are coming back with £60m. I'd say that's about the right price, would leave something like £27m to spend if they made the balance of what he costs on the books less Sporting's 10% available. If being a mighty big word

Think how many players of Josh Brownhill's calibre we could get in for that!

At least 10.

It's so exciting...

3 9m players - ch, cf and wide attacker, would in theory make us a better team without Nunes than with him imo. Whether we have the correct recruitment team to get the right players, at the right price in a week is very debatable

Chiquinho being recalled from Stoke covers the wide attacker. So just a CH as we'll almost certainly go in to the season with just Fabio & Sasa as our FW options.

Isn’t Yerson MIA in the US too?

I do love how Fosun have got things so wrong that we now create shitter outcomes in our heads and are convinced they will happen and are angry in advance

Wolves have storylines that EastEnders would be proud of. You couldn't make some of it up. Referees, missed chances, freak injuries, sending offs, bookings. That's just the games, the off field stuff is even more bizarre.
And it's been going on for decades.

He's largely thought of as one of the best bits of business in MLS this season. No attitude issues as far as I'm aware (although Matt Miazga might disagree as Yerson is maybe the only FCC defender I've seen give him a right bollocking for being mid as hell).

Every club's fans think they're somehow an exceptional case.

We're actually pretty mundane all things considered.

To look at the last 30 years:

- Only three owners, they're all fairly low key too, certainly after Sir Jack cut the money tree down in 1997
- Spent most of the time in the second tier, the most ploddingly mundane division of all
- Relatively low number of promotions/relegations, don't even have that many playoff efforts
- Only one season outside the top two divisions
- No cup finals
- Only one season in Europe
- Hardly any England internationals
- Never been in administration or anywhere close (and we aren't going to be any time soon no matter what idiots make up on the Internet)

Good and bad, huge amounts of other clubs have us trumped in either direction.

THIS COULD ONLY HAPPEN TO WOLVES, year after year after year. Fucking grow up.
