If I thought we'd get the fee to buy new players I'd quite happily sell him, but we won't so I'm not. Elvidi and Brownhill on top of Doherty and King when we've sold £150m worth of player will not sit well

I think they'd release the profit on his book value which is about £31m, so if we got £50m I think they'd sanction £19m less any add ons due to Sporting

If we'd have known we weren't going to replace Collins I wouldn't have wanted him to go for the sake of 2 Mill profit.

You are misrepresenting people there. Yes, there was a long list that many would be happy to go, some have, some haven't, but that was before we knew there'd he nobody to replace them. Deutsch reeled off about 20, I doubt he meant net

Was listening to the E&S podcast earlier (I know, I know - but I was on a long drive!) and they were very much of the opinion that no one from our percieved strongest 11 would be sold unless a stupid offer came in; which is why I said I didn't think City would offer what it would take to tempt us to sell him.

Stranger things have happened, but I just don't see them spending the best part of £80m+ for a player that won't be in their best 11 straight away (yes, I know about Grealish etc).

I think Nunes' ceiling is massive and I'd be looking to keep him for another season or two.
