Pretty sure the deal for RAN was £10m upfront plus 50% of whatever we sell him for above £10m.

I.e
If we sell him for £15m we get the first £10m and then split everything above £10m 50/50 with angers.

Don't think we'll be particularly close to going down.

I think everyone outwith Luton and Sheff Utd is trying to avoid one solitary spot, lengthens the odds significantly. And we were already better than a few of the other candidates last season (well, after Christmas).

I really hope you are right, we have a very small squad right now, hopefully they have some targets lined up as usual that we dont know about before announced..makes it worse when the gaffer feels the same frustration..

It was meant to be they sign his replacement and we get him but we seemed to have gone to plan C on the transfer now where we have no money regardless of who we sell.

If that deal is confirmed would hope to seeing a Percy tweeting (or xing) that the deal is now sorted but I am doubtful it will happen until someone finds where the transfer kitty has been hidden

I would say then if we don't have a Tweet from a trusted source in the next 48 hours that the deal for us is happening we are really saying, nothing to spend at all.

Despite the weaknesses of Collins and Coady I'll be apoplectic if we don't sign another centre back having let those two go for fees which in all honesty were above expectations.

We simply can't have three centre halves for two spots, especially as there's no-one in the U21s remotely ready to step up in that position.

Yes, I dont mind Collins go for that kind of money..dont think he is prem material..maybe in a low playing team and heading it away..Coady was great for the group mentality and team spirit but made some mistakes and was caught out for speed many times..loved his character though

Personally I think that we'll sign Cresswell, a centre back, Scott and maybe a loan as a wide forward or forward option.

And sell RAN then(he has been pretty good I think), really like Bueno but we need another option so maybe youre right about Cresswell..a bit meh for me..Scott would be nice and we should prioritate a super forward rather than another winger, but we need both I think to widen the squad..
