Not sure if you're serious but just in case you are.

We've made ourselves unattractive to prospective players with this whole sorry episode of 4d chess.

Part in jest. We’re a business with a turnover of approximately £160m with, you would imagine, highly trained/qualified accountants looking after finances and cash flow. If there was going to be a black hole of £90m of cash going out of the business in July and there being no way of funding it except potential player sales how would they have filled the hole if no players were sold? It makes no sense to have all that income come in yet there is nothing available for signing players? The only alternative explanation is that we sailed by the skin of our pants and were incredibly lucky but for a huge business that does not sound believable.

All gone on the record label/ eSports?

(This is not a serious suggestion before anybody gets exercised)

18 days until the season kicks off for us at Old Trafford.

Currently we have signed zero players for the first team that have actually improved us. Even the most pessimistic of Wolves fans wouldn't have predicted that at the start of the window.

Even the social media accounts linking us to random players have given up!

Best chance of us signing players is if we’re in the bottom 3 in January so they get worried and splurge again

At best we’re now in a season by season existence with no long term plan.
Securing PL status is all that matters to Fosun now, bad news for them is to even achieve that you need to put some investment in.
If they’re selling up it’s a bit like selling your house you’ve got to spend a bit and work hard to maintain it and get it up to a sellable standard.

We need to lay off the house buying/selling analogies towards transfer around here, as none of them seem to reflect what it's been like to buy a house in the last 4 years! Due to record demand and normally getting one 15 minute viewing before having to bid over asking price. It's very triggering to me still despite having finally got our house last year! (that was frankly a bit of a wreck).

Giles medical today.

We can finally sign Cresswell - woohoo.
Probably a bit basic but surely we are better doing this

Currently £3m short on what Brizzle City want for Scott (who is No1 target for Lop's)
Sell Giles for £5m
Pop £3m from that to top up the Scott fund
Leaving Hugo and RAN as LB with Toti as a 3rd option
If RAN goes, if we really want Cresswell, sign him then.

Get out of the way Fosun, I am your new financial controller/transfer guru
