I think that's the right call. His numbers have been too good to not at least give him a chance to show Lop something in person.

I just don't see him being anywhere near up to the mark defensively. Like Bueno is a far better defender based on what I've seen of both, and we know Hugo is nothing like the finished article.

Think as you said there would be a place for him in the squad as an orthodox LM in a 442. Id prefer him coming on as a sub there rather than Ait Nouri if we needed a goal. Might actually start to score from set pieces and crosses if we get men in there
