Last season he was better than Rui had been the season before. Time moves on though and we need better than the Sa who has played this season.
That's succinct!
In that case I'd take a hard look at the goalkeeping coach....

urgently. however anybody thought this guy was an ‘upgrade’ on Rui, i’ll never know. maybe over 100 caps for the national team was a clue,

Rui looked like he'd never seen a football before last season. Let in at least 6 howlers that did the rounds on group chats.

Someone suggested Kelleher from Scouserpool. I'd be happy with that. Should count as Home Grown too.

yeah… and all the other seasons of their careers Rui has been better than Sa.

Not especially, although most people upon hearing someone is Scouse will do everything they can to avoid them.
Aye, always figured it was like Newcastle and Geordie, but figured it best to clarify before accidentally offending someone.

I like the idea of Turner, though we are only plucking names out the air here. On a loan to buy might interest Arsenal, maybe.

Etienne Green would be my ideal, not quite ready yet but playing at a pretty good level in France and only 22, plus English (if that matters, for home grown rules)

Not homegrown.

Sa isn’t an urgent situation to me. He’s a mid table keeper. Gave away a goal away at city at 2-0 down, not sure it’s cause for huge panic. He is annoying me lately how he passes it behind the centre backs though.

It's annoying that if he and Kristijan Kahlina (Charlotte's GK) traded clubs we'd be in exactly the same spot on both sides.

I think you're right that GK won't be a priority (or perhaps a consideration at all) this window.
