The Incoming Transfers Everywhere Thread: Summer 2023

I guess interest is a possibility, although you'd think getting an opportunity would have had the opposite affect. Collins played him very well, but I wouldn't say he wasn't trying

I’d be happy with Dawson next to Collins to be honest, they both balance the weaknesses of the other and it’s a short term fix until we can look properly in the summer. I’d rather the Prem experience over Felipe.

According to Lemina we tried to sign him in the 19/20 Summer transfer window but couldn't agree a fee.

There is something there with Collins to be a very good player. Last few games he’s looked really good for the most part, then just does something stupid, like Saturday trying to shield the ball out and getting caught, for example.

Get those out of his game and il be relatively happy with him based on last few games

I'd rather keep Raul than go with Antonio or Ings.
All three have an element of risk but I guess that's the pool we're swimming in.

Pretty much every West Ham fan thinks Antonio is completely done as a forward.

Unless raul is off, I'd rather persist with him than sign antonio, I think he's done, although he's a positive character. We don't want to have too many short term signings.

I would however be interested in Ings if he is available, even on an 18 month contract.

i think there might be a role for Antonio off the bench, particularly in the last 15-20 if we're under the kosh. Big aerial presence in both boxes and someone who could probably hold the ball up a bit better. I'd question whether it's worth it though.

Yeah, he does look to be getting there physically and technically, but very much needs to look at his decision making, and I think he could press with a bit more intensity too (though accept we'd basically stopped by the time he came on on Saturday)

It’s a shame Manuel Ruiz de Lopera is no longer the Betis owner. He used to carry his cash around in bin bags, so we could have just emptied one of them and put Guedes straight in it.
