The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Treating my better half to a home made lamb kofta this weekend. Going to get the ingredients for it tomorrow - and there won't be a slow cooker in sight.

Perhaps Mr Penguin can cook for a change...

Why should he? I would never expect him to work a 7 till 5 day then come home to cook for me.I'd feel a right selfish twat.

Cheese n' pickled cabbage sarnie on Rye.

Strawberry pie n' a scoop of Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream.

An utter bloody triumph. Best thing I've ever cooked by a country mile. Beautiful.

Minted Lamb shanks, baby potatoes, carrots, broccoli.

Pork carnitas tonight. Have had a shoulder in the slow cooker for four hours so far - another couple to go until it's perfection.

Sat in a hotel in London trying to decide where to go and eat tonight!

Ham, mash, peas, parsley sauce.

Cherry pie and whipped cream.

Discovered the delights of a coconut milk latte today. Amazing stuff.

Had a go at chicken biryani - bloody delicious. Added some of my dad's homegrown green beans, mushrooms, raisins, spring onions. It's worked really well.

(And I know it's not a true biryani which are bloody impossible to cook but I don't know what else to call it!)
