The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Off to a street food and beer festival tonight. Cannot wait.

Yesterday I chucked some stuff into the slow cooker as I was on lates and like to help out so the wife doesn't have to start cooking when she gets home...Sandra is on a diet, Slimming World, so it was all stuff that is "free" on their plan. Chicken, lean bacon, tin of baked beans, tin of chopped toms, half a tin of water, chorizo sausage and some herbs. I left her to do some pasta to go with it when she finished and it was a great success, even the boys ate it!
Today I am doing slow cooked BBQ Pulled Pork which I have just put into the oven. I've made the sauce from scratch and it smells great...To be served with Tortilla wraps

Lucky bugger. They have one in Digbeth every Friday and we never get to go because we've got the kids! I love so many of the current street food vendors.

Had to make do with a Rustlers burger. Grim, in a good way.

Venison steak (wild Roe deer) with a cranberry sauce. Also got some shank so I'm going to make a stew tomorrow.

Beef bourguignon today - with a dollop of red wine into the mix to give it some body.

Chana dhal
Lentil dhal
Homemade chapatis

Cheesecake

Beer then wine. Good sunday evening

Cheese n tomato sarnies, side dollop of piccallili, pkt of plain crisps.

Pudding, lemon trifle.

Although looking on here, I wished I was having Parkins dinner instead.

An assorted smelly blue cheese board, crusty bread, apple, grapes and pear, with a nice chilled white wine. Eaten outdoors.

Goat Biryani + Keema Naan from the Bangladeshi restaurant around the corner. Amazing.

Going to the Italian later for their portobello mushroom stuffed ravioli in a parmesan and chive sauce.

Hope I can say it was amazing like Lycans goat.
