The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Not just mash though, a jacket potato is also nice with a couple of spoonfuls of beans on top. :).

We had chicken parmigiana tonight. To accompany it my wife made the greatest cheesy garlic bread I have ever eaten.

A lad I work with ran us through one of his own creations the other day.

Canned tuna, preferably the kind that comes in sunflower oil rather than brine, mixed in with white rice, aranged in a ring around the edge of a plate/bowl then the centre filled with baked beans.

He received little support for his idea.

Homemade falafel with associated goodies tonight 1

That's too weird even for me! Tuna and beans together, never .

My ribs doing in the slow cooker smell disappointing. Should have stuck to what I know, using a different sauce to what id usually use. This one smells too sweet and sicky :(

This could well be the first slow cooker meal that gets binned

When I was a student I once had pasta shells with beans, tuna and Tabasco as they were the only food items I had left in the cupboard. It was surprisingly edible. Although, tellingly, I never made it again.

I've never gotten on board with cheesy garlic bread.

My wife made it herself tonight and it was amazing. LOADS of cheese and garlic on it. She's definitely going to have to make that bad boy again.

Proper bbq with entrecote with perselybutter, sweet paprika, extra hot chorizo, bacon and cheese sausage, deep fried thick fries, corn..chipotle bearnaise and some chimichurri sauce..delicious..:)

Sounds like my kind of food, Freddy!

:) if you ever visit sweden i will invite you ;)

That Swedish restaurant they went to on Masterchef last night looked amazing, Ekstedt or something? Everything cooked on open wood fires in heavy cast iron pans, proper old school, the chefs seemed good fun too.
