The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

I have already bbq'ed three times and its about +4 celsius..loving bbq though and a warm chilistew in the winter :)

You'd have to be in the 20s at very least. Being sunny is not a qualification in itself, it is sunny in December sometimes.

They're nice though. Are we not allowed to like them just because they feature heavily on 'overheard in Waitrose'?

When your choices are a floured white that was boring, a seeded wheat that was half the size it needed to be, a crusty that just isn't made for burgers and a brioche that's a nice bread and looks good on the plate, which would have the TWF seal of non ponce approval?

Yeah, they're well nice it's just pairing it with sweet potato chips reads like every hipster pub menu in the country right now!

Del could have pulled off a brioche bun/sweet potato chip combo if his wife hadn't made him shave off his beard.

Ha, yeah, ya big faced wannabe!

Brioche buns are THE choice bun for burgers, fact. It's not even up for debate.

Mark knows. Bear, just to piss you off even more, I was watching game of thrones in standard definition whilst eating it.

Anywhere that does a half decent burger these days uses brioche buns, it's so commonplace now that it's pretty much lost all snobbery value. You can buy a pack of 4 for about 80p from Aldi too, no excuse not to be upping your burger game at that price.

Sweet potato chips are the way to go. Wonderful things.
