The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

You know that I know where you live ! Go on say one more thing about Bourbons, I dare you :steam:
:icon_lol:

stepdaughter is a mahoosive bourbon fan. Indeed they are the reason she goes to fat class apparently.

Can't she just get them from the shop?

Having a bit of a Garibaldi relapse at the minute, was half way through my 12 step programme even with the groups support I always succumb

Love custard creams and bourbons.

Chocolate hob nobs are hard to resist too.

Fox's does some amazing cookies, even better than choc Hobnobs. I used to like Maryland cookies but they don't dunk well.

Only two I use. Good Taste in Bilbrook for a cheap one or House of Canton when I am feeling flush

We have our regular in Hednesford which is acceptable and the standard never drops but the wifes had this idea to try this other one because someone she knows liked it. It's like cheating on your wife going somewhere else :)

Yep, it's next to the bookies.

Good Taste is on Birches Bridge, nothing wrong with it but it's more money and further away from my house, no brainer. I do occasionally go there if I've just got off the train as I'm already virtually there.

Useful info. I have never tried Jade House. My absolute fave is House of Canton but it is a bit pricey. Sit down meal there is right on my list for things to do when this shit ends (or stays bad but everything opens which looks more likely).

I have an Aunty and Uncle that live in Jasmine Grove off Carter Avenue, I was talking to my brother about playing football against the 'No Ball Games Sign' with my cousins as kids !

If I shouted really really loudly, they could probably hear me from here...

Bengal Spice and Jade House are both on that little shopping precinct on Duck Lane, can't go wrong with either. Good value and never had a bad meal from them.

Codsall Spice is great but too pricey for a takeaway. I'd go there for a proper meal though.

Curry Lounge is another good one on the Stafford Road. We'll have to go there when, y'know.

Curry Lounge is really good I must agree. I miss the bloody Dilshad or New Spice in town. The end of season curry night was a great thing.
