The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

No rib joints at Morrison’s but the butcher very helpfully dug out a centre rib that they cut to make rib eye steaks and strung it into a roasting joint. Only £13 as well. Very happy with that.

That's no bad at all.

I'll be round in 20 :)

Lamb and mint pie from Leesons Family Butchers, Best pie I have ever tasted. Beautiful.

Liver, mash, onion gravy, was gorgeous :)

Black pudding, rocket, beetroot and stilton in sourdough bloomer.

I'm disappointed. I was expecting the very next post to mine to mention salad cream.

Well I rather enjoyed it...
Will be same again tomorrow but with the black pudding replaced by rib eye steak (and with some salad cream, obvs...).

Can someone explain rocket to me please. It looks like the sort of stuff you pull out of the grass verge when you're taking a piss at the side of the motorway.

Tastes nice, well at least it does if you don’t put salad cream on it.

It's like lettuce but actually has (a slightly peppery) flavour. So goes well with meat.
