The Goggle Box Thread

Really enjoyed Parks and Rec, although the whole mockumentary thing doesn't really work, it rarely does.
Schitt's Creek is just Schitt.

What We Do in the Shadows was a big whiff for me.
Mate, I love you, but that statement is second only to dumping a load of tea in Boston harbour, take it back or I'll hunt you down like a dog !!

All of:

What We Do In The Shadows
Parks & Rec
Shitts Creek

Are just terrible.

Community however, is brilliant.

Well there's the clincher, Mr Mirth and Merriment, the Tzar of Drole, a person who has never heard the phrase "Bear's here now we can get the party started' has condemned my favourite programme from the last couple of years, time to cry 😭

You join Keef with his Jump (for my love) by Girls Aloud is better than the Pointer Sisters version in the worst take of 2023 competition
😞
I just can't stand Chris Elliot (actor who plays the Mayor of Schitts Creek).
Possibly I'd enjoy it somewhat if he wasn't in it. Couldn't guarantee that tho...

Never seen as Schitts Creek but your opinion on t'others can be rammed into your Salad Cream bottle good sir...
The only knowledge I have of Schitts Creek was hearing my better half laughing uncontrollably (something I haven't heard since she last saw me naked 🤷‍♂️ )

What makes SC great imo is the character growth of the Rose's. Shallow and one dimensional at the start, deep, developed and warm by the end.

Bear once said that Clarence starring Ronnie Barker was a good show.

It was amusing to a young me. Probably aged terribly.

I know, I know. As with many things, very much accept my opinion on WWDITS is the minority.

Might have to give it another go, wasn't keen after the first few

Need to give Always Sunny another go too. My mates tell me it's brilliant once Danny Devito comes into it
