THE worst ref I have ever seen. Easily.

Every single game of ours he refereed was a complete farce, he doesn't know what he's doing.

Someone has had to get the ball out of the net to take the corner 😂

I don’t get what you can possibly thinks happened
Lino seems to suggest the ball hit the side netting and went through it.

TNS have given the £600k they got from being in the European Qualifiers to the FAW to be distributed to the 11 other teams in the Welsh Prem.

Earned a minimum of £5m for getting into the Group Stages

Coventry considering Damien Duff for their new manager, who guided Shelbourne to their first Irish League title in 17 years.

Duff has aged like milk with the lid off though.

Duff is going nowhere . He returned home after his playing career was over , tried some coaching for a while at Celtic , but his main aim is to promote the League of Ireland and football in general over here .
He has given a real shot in the arm to the League of Ireland to be fair , he is a great lad for the quotes as well and being critical of others who knock football .
Walked in with no experience of managing a team at senior level and wins a League in his second season .
He's different , very different to be sure , and perhaps that's what is needed .

Say that's a complete non-runner, financially secure, kids at school, listen to his interviews has no ambition to manage elsewhere.

Main ambition seems to make life as uncomfortable as possible & be a general pain in the arse for the FAI.

What I like about Duff is that instead of sitting back and being critical of Irish football , he has put his hand up and said that he wants to help .
He is probably the first really prominent former Irish International in 40 years to get involved in the League of Ireland - first since Johnny Giles I would think .
Others , plenty of them too , have taken jobs in England at a coaching level , where you are less exposed , and therefore somewhat easier .

Credit where it is due .

It's the annual "people get triggered by James McLean for not wearing a poppy" event.

You would think after numerous years this wouldn't be a headline but Sky even have it as a main story

It's not the lack of the poppy, it's the way he's so performative about it which irks me.skynews-remembrance-day-wrexham_6743468.jpg

Yep it’s the arrogance that he shows around it and the way he happily allows the spotlight to be put on him.
Don’t wear the poppy that’s a democratic right but have some humility with it to.
Don’t actively shove down peoples throats then claim victim status when you receive abuse. It’s a highly emotive subject and will generate very irrational responses if you stir the pot.
Reading between the lines I think 75% of it is genuine and 25% is antagonistic anglophobic behaviour.
