Train journey back to Wolverhampton was the one of the most miserable experiences I’ve ever had.

I avoided that by getting pissed in the Euston Tap. The only plus side was I ended up going out in Birmingham the night of the actual cup final and had a great time, even when Dean Smith decided to give me the stink eye.

Four and a half years and I am still thoroughly pissed off about it.

You were about four rows in front of me at the game and you were fairly vocal throughout I noticed

Really sad to hear Franz Beckenbauer has passed away. Fantastic player and highly influential on me as a young boy as I tried to model myself on him when I played at the back. Always comfortable on the ball and not afraid to come forward with it. RIP Franz.
