Todd Boehly gone full Morgan and blasted the players in a dressing room rant.

Bizarrely, average Frank is backing him up.

This is going to end very badly
Lampard us also blaming Potter for his 3 defeats. Going to take too long to fix the mess he created.

I would suggest a manager with this recent record should keep schtum. At the moment Bruno Lage would be a better option

As owners you should never, ever go into the dressing room unless it's overwhelmingly positive after a title win or something.

Boehly has no idea on football matters, either personnel or tactics, think he might set Chelsea back a long way.

Depends how long it takes him to understand what he is doing. Right now he is a Shi-Max (pre-Lop era)

Came in and wanted big name players like Ronaldo but had a Head Coach who told him no
Didn't like that, so fired him
Obviously read the papers or something and knew Potter was a highly rated coach...so threw stupid amounts of money to get him
Then just went on a mad spending spree, signing players they hadn't really watched or to stop Arsenal getting them and Potter was either ignored or didn't say no
Then blamed the highly rated coach

Can be fixed in the summer though. It won't take much as they will get some money in from a fair amount of sales and just need to balance up the squad and get a proper Head Coach in and let them do their thing. Keeps thinking he knows it all and they will be fucked.

Not sure balancing the squad and bringing in a coach will be that easy, he's already gone through 2 of the most respected coaches in a few months. Think your last sentence is the nub of the matter, he seems the kind of person who always thinks he knows it all, highly successful business man aye he.

Spent all the money on players, knowing he’d get champions league money back guaranteed, because Chelsea are always in the champions league.
Argued with somebody when they pointed out it’s not a guaranteed place, stomped off, came back about 5 minutes later never mentioned it again.

Not sure where tp put this, but,
What was the big announcement?
It was something to do with the E&S podcast being live from Molineux for their 300th edition, this got transmogrified into new overseas investment, Neves signing a new contract and the Steve Bull being rebuilt.

That new manager bounce has really boosted Chelsea...

A couple of months ago Popbitch ran a blind item about Boehly - apparently he thought Chelsea automatically qualified for the CL each year and didn't realise until much later. He'd been going around a party talking about how relaxed he was about the club's finances until he (embarrassingly) had to be politely corrected in front of everyone.

As CL qualification has financial impact, I imagine he actually knew about that bit.

Now, if he truly believed that Chelsea will always qualify in the same way Everton will "never be relegated", well...

It's possible. Quick scan of Chelsea and they are in the CL every year. Gets told financially the CL is very lucrative and easy to assume, if you have little knowledge of the English League that is something they do every year regardless. If the Super League was put back on the table now he would be dragging Chelsea into it regardless of the fans reaction.

We are also told he employed Lampard after speaking with people such as James Corden!
