Lop's record according to the PL site

1.5ppg with an even GD is very good going considering where we were when he took over.

Might be a bit late here but fair dos to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney for calling out (during their post-match interview after the Boreham win) how ridiculous it is that Notts County might not get promoted on their points haul.

You get the sense that they're properly bought in to English football as a whole, more than just Wrexham.

Thems the rules at the start. Don't know how they would change it, can't see League 2 clubs voting for an extra relegation place

Just some good PR from them really. Its ether say something nice or mock them for being great losers

It is insane to get over a 100 points and not be guaranteed promotion but go back a few years and it would be 100+ points and no promotion.

For sure, but I do have to agree that only the one AQ spot feels absurdly narrow.

Automatic qualification I guess. As promotion and relegation has yet to be invented his side of the pond they probably need to develop some vocabulary to cover it.

Yep, apologies. That’s how spots on the table that, say, get a team straight in the UCL Group Stage are often labeled over here.

In fairness ‘AQ’ is a misrepresentation of promotion so a poor choice on my part.

Just been reading an interesting article in a Civil Engineering magazine about Everton's new stadium,
It's been finished at £505 million but by the time it's all finished it'll cost a trifling £706.
Will be ready by kick off in August 2024.
Will seat 52,888 with a good bit of safe standing.
Do you reckon they'll fill it in the Championship?
Wow!
Some incentive to not go down!

Free tickets!

Tbf, Düsseldorf have never really had a successful team since the late 70s/early 80s (despite the size of the city), and their stadium is massive. Their current attendances tend to hover around 25k which is more than respectable in itself for second tier football, but it means the ground isn't even half full.

£760m latest estimate costs and still rising.

If they go down more chance of it being a Nou Mestalla

Just read an article about the Valencia white elephant. Must be the biggest half built building in the Mediterranean.

As for Everton give me a choice of them Forest or Leeds to stay up I’d choose them every time.

I'd go Leeds, fan wise they are aresholes every time they come to Molineux
