He was basically available for free all summer. The only offer was from some Saudi club.

Amorim at Sporting made it a point of principle that he wasn't welcome, if he came along then they'd have to find a new manager as well.
Atletico wanted him....but their fans went as mental as the South Bank when Kevin Kyle missed a sitter

At half a million plus a week that sounds ace.
You missed or ignored “I don’t want to sign him” then? Just because he’s a fading light that has been massively overpaid by MU doesn’t mean he’s suddenly become a poorer player than Costa.

I was just pointing out it would be severely poor value. Your wishes or otherwise have no bearing on that.

His goal return for United last year kept them in Europe for this year. Some return for them (along with obvious marketing returns).

You just have to accept he is limited nowadays and costs a fortune.
He wouldnt even consider us if we tried so no worries about us getting him.

Apples and pears. My response was solely about Deutsch suggesting he’d score no more than Costa.

He stands around and waits for chances. Good luck with that in our current team.

I’d back him to score the header Costa missed in his first game and the chance at Palace. As I said don’t want him and I’d imagine there’s no chance we will even be interested so we’ll all be happy.

I wonder if Boehly is actually egotistical and stupid enough to foist him upon Potter at Chelsea? Tuchel said no, but Potter has less gravitas to argue against the deal.

United owners looking at some financing options and may sell the club

Ronnie should buy them

Trouble is do you spend billions on United with a fairly shit side and a stadium needing £100s of millions spent or do you buy Liverpool for probably less with a significantly better squad, Champions League and a ground essentially finished when the Anfield Road project is finished.

I'm sure there is an oil rich group ready to take them on though

Do they give refunds when Madders goes on holiday...or should they just say free 12 months subscription for Wolves fans?

Just the £6bn if you fancy buying Utd.

They will be lucky to get that. You would think that’s about £2bn over market value, before taking in the fact that the ground and training ground are as tired as the squad.

Ground, training ground and squad all need work and that's before you get to the debt they owe.

Which I imagine is Utd's and not the Glazers.

I don't think the club is worth that much with all that debt.
