In slight fairness to the appalling cunt, these weren't his targets. He wanted ridiculous players that would never have come and indeed they didn't. Still would have crippled them financially but they never arrived. This lot was the work of Darren Dein, your likes of Fake Jota, Thicko Dean, N'Doye, Stockdale etc.

We know he didn't get his targets because they didn't sign Defoe, Krancjar and Crouch...

Sterling, who has two years left on his deal, is refusing to sign an extension unless he is given parity with the club’s £300,000-a-week top earners Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero [Simon Mullock]

Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed that they are under a transfer embargo.

Sky are charging £18 a month for all football for an 18 month contract. £22 for all sports.

Not really viable if you haven't got / don't want Sky. Virgin charge a hell of a lot more than that, no idea what BT charge.

Decided to watch some Championship highlights and can say Stoke looked utterly woeful. Brentford carved them open repeatedly and only their wastefulness saw them not win 4-1. Didn’t Brentford last season have a crazy record for goals per shot? Like massive outlier in the profligacy stakes?

They did Punts. 798 shots, 240 on target (17.35 shots per game, 5.22 on target) but only 62 goals (1.35pg). Norwich were next in shots with 650 and we had 606 with 207 on target.

Rumours going round that spurs will be at Wembley until new year.

If Spurs play one home game at Wembley, they will have to play them all there.

They were given special dispensation to play the Fulham Game there. Have a feeling the Premier league will still let them move mid season.

Will save me fussing about our away game on 29/12 then - should forego all away games due to the S/T (& mainly travel) costs but would have liked to see the new WHL - if they are not going to be there then its an easy choice.

If they do move we’ll either be their last game at Wembley or first at the New WHL

There's an NFL game at Wembley the day they are due to play City, so the FA will need to give them a blank weekend to accommodate.

Unless they switch it to the ethihad and spurs play the home game later in the season. Man Utd are at home the day before.

NFL UK put out a statement the other week that Wembley is a contingency if Spurs can't host the game.

Obviously there are major concerns about it. There's a guy on YouTube who does updates on the new stadium weekly and he thinks it won't be ready.

Last pictures I saw there was still a big hole in one side and think there was about 7 weeks to their first game from that point, didn't look likely.
