Watched '3 billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri' yesterday

From the write up wasn't that enthused, but not much else on so watched it - glad that I did. Unlike a lot of films actually felt like real people (flawed, petty & consumed with guilt or hate) ra
ther than just actors picking up a pay cheque (though obviously they were doing that as well)

Loved 3 billboards, only watched it a couple of weeks ago (and posted above I think), excellent film and probably one of very few I will watch again.

Watched Old Guard last night and enjoyed that too, good harmless ‘highlander’ style fun.

Highlander 1 is great, the tv series was a bit of a guilty pleasure too. The sequel films are dog poo though.

The animated series was kinda interesting though, a bit like a proto Avatar the Last Airbender (although watched that ages ago as a kid, so might be over nostalgic).

TV series is oddly good, though the lead guy is fucking annoying. Still pops up on random channels like horror or one of those.

Absolutely, Highlander 1 is one of my (and missus) favourite all time films.
We actually saw some of it being filmed. Riding along Rannock Moor with the mist down with smoke bombs going off in the distance, a 6' 6" Highlander in all the gear with a big fuck off Claymore in his hands, stepping out from behind a camper van in front of you id a surreal experience. Also watched them filming the scene where Sean Connery jumps his horse over the boulder where Mcleod and Heather are sat under.
Obviously it wasn't actually Connery

Yeah, I'm not really one for comic book movies but this was pretty good. Soundtrack was shit and off-putting though. Made a lot of it seem like a dodgy music vid.
