American Animals
Tully
Booksmart

All good but American Animals probably my favourite.

Three billboards outside ebbing Missouri. Brilliant, just brilliant. Can’t believe I waited this long to watch it.

Yeah, I loved it - Martin McDonagh is an amazing writer and director. It's as good as In Bruges for me, which is some accolade!

Watched a film called Extra Ordinary on Netflix , fun Irish film about a female driving instructor who can also perform exorcisms, with so many nods and homages in, for example when she pulls up outside the main house in her Fiesta with the driving instructor sign on and she gets out and the light from the upstairs window of the semi detached house hits her, a la The Exorcist it does make you smile, and the one hit wonder rock star who needs a virgin for a sacrifice is so not Chris de Burgh. It was fun, it passed an hour and a half.

Watching Eurovision with Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams. Released two days ago so pretty new. I genuinely cannot decide whether this is an act of genius or so bad it is good.

Yesterday, just watched it and bloody hell its loads better than I thought it would be.

The latter without the last 3 words. :icon_lol:

We watched it last night. Christ alive.

Just watched Eurovision, thoroughly enjoyed it, top feel good film.
Jaja Ding Dong!

Gerald's Game on Netflix: Three quarters of a really good film. Neat idea, which is done really well right up until the last 10 minutes when they completely blow it with the ending. I'm sure it's faithful to Stephen King story but it really doesn't need all the pointless explanation at the end.

Yeah, that one kinda got away from them...

Watched Eurovision yesterday and loved it. Don’t know what lockdown has done to me.

Watched Marvelous, which was shown on the BBC last week.
The name of that film is perfect. A fantastic watch even though Uriah Rennie makes an appearance

Watched this last night. Tugs on the heart strings a bit, doesn't it? It's such a lovely film.

I loved how they included the actual bloke in it to confirm a few things that seemed utterly ridiculous, along with some of the names in it.

I did notice Rennie only had a couple of minutes yet still made a horrific decision......

The Old Guard dropped on Netflix today. I'll give it a watch when my wage slavery ends later.

As part of the great unemployed it is my duty to watch it first and spoil it for you, I consider it my duty :)

Ha watched it !!

It's OK, at the end Charlize Theron finds herself on the A5 at Cannock and the sequel is the quest to find an overweight, asthmatic, middle aged ex Transport Manager to have her wicked way with, looks promising and totally believable !

Sounds bon.

Went out with m'Julie tonight so it's going to have to wait until tomorrow.

Apparently the folks watched Greyhound with Tom Hanks and thought it was Bobby Dazzler.
