The Film Thread

Do NOT go and see Movie 43.

IGN gave it a 1/10. The only plus being that it is under 2 hours.IGN Review

Django short review

10/10 I really enjoyed it.

Great story. Great showing of how life used to be. Good action. Good acting.

If you are thinking of watching it you must know a bit about what the film is about and I highly suggest watching it. Very good.

-Hey, I did say a short review :icon_razz:

It's oddly compelling to see it though.

I watched Dan In Real Life last night via Netflix. Another one of Carrell's straight roles. Not bad but he does seemingly play virtually the same guy in all his straight roles.

The fighter, seen it a coupe of times before but caught it again last night, top film, a great performance by Bale.

I've never seen it. I've heard it good though. Managed to record it last night so will have to put it on the watch list.

I should have recorded that. I'm a huge fan of Christian Bale - the guy may be a total arse in real life but he does some bloody good films.

If you like Christian Bale movies I'd highly recommend The Machinist, it's a brilliant film.

I have seen it and it is indeed brilliant. Can't believe he made himself that thin though! The Prestige is another favourite of mine.

The Prestige is a phenomenal film. One of the very few films I could have put straight back to the beginning and watched again right away.

.
Presumably a lot of people have seen this, but here:

Agreed!

I'm going to have to get The Fighter, haven't seen that yet.

Just saw one of the best films I have ever seen. Looper, starring Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon Levitt. Absolutely brilliant. Stunning. Wow..... just wow

Gangster Squad was ace - one of the most enjoyable films I've watched in ages.
