The FIFA Debacle

Take it that you are not enamoured with this game then?

Will be happy if Afobe doesn't get on so that he is not scarred by this experience

More trouble for the Irish FA, apparently each player for the team in a 2010 friendly against Argentina were paid $10,000 to "not tackle Messi".[/QUOTE

Shows how much our credibility has shrunk, that some people might actually believe this pile of shite.

Handy for FIFA that the Head of the Argentine FA at the time and one of those implicated in the whole shenanigans died last year, means they can shovel a load of shit towards his direction to take the spotlight off the living.

"I did not resign. I put myself and my office in the hands of the Fifa congress."

We knew this already.

I said in an earlier post that he remains as president until December at the earliest. I then went on to wonder what he'd be doing and a couple of posters felt that the sound of shredders could be deafening.

what a total pillock!

and what a bunch of wankers FIFA are for continuing to allow this farce

Sepp, you are out of there, and if not FIFA is!

Methinks this is a last ditch effort from Sepp to get some wall around him whilst the FBI closes in.

apparently he's not going to Canada to present the Women's world cup trophy, hmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder why that is? holiday plans? brown envelopes to pick up in africa? who knows.

Doesn't care about women's sports and fears being close to the US border, IMO.

I suspect he is more concerned about getting an arrest warrant on the airport runway.
