The F1 Thread

Yes, just tomorrow. I'm not a great fan of it live to be honest, but I've been invited and the beer will be good.

This is farcical.

Nobody will leave the pits because they can't run the risk of running out of wet tyres in case it's a completely wet weekend.

What happens if Qualifying can't go ahead due to the weather, how are the starting slots sorted?

Possibly a session on Sunday morning like at Suzuka in 2010, otherwise championship order I think.

Indeed, why limit them to three sets of wets in this kind of weather?

Maybe they just need to man the fuck up. If I need to go out and its a bit rainy I dont demand new tyres, and im not a pro racing driver. Molloycoddled eejits.

Hardly. If they use the tyres now there won't be a race worth watching come Sunday.

The teams wouldn't let the drivers out anyway. Blame the FIA rather than drivers.

Top left corner is the correct colour. Good day mind.

Good job you're not going tomorrow, you wouldn't be allowed in.

Button out in first qualifying, 17th

Ferrari going to join them too. Idiotic decision once again.

Eddie Jordan, you really are a bellend of colossal proportions.

Have to agree, the regs on wets is a bad move. Horrible conditions too, looks like most of them are half-floating on the track.

It's absolutely glorious to read the reactions of people who appear to become physically sick as soon as Ferrari or Alonso start doing well.

I can't imagine what they'll be like if they win the title this season.

I agree, I'm a Hamilton fan but Alonso has been class for most races this season. Still to early in the season yet though.

I'm not saying that its McLaren/Hamilton fans, obviously some of them are but a lot of Kimi fans can't take that he was ditched for Alonso. The majority are people who still believe its 2000-2004 and Ferrari are allowed to do what they want.

I've got no issues with Hamilton, I don't actively support him but I admire his driving and he's matured considerably this season. I'd like to see him leave McLaren though as I think they limit what he wants to do.

Some of the live coverage yesterday was bordering on disgraceful as Jordan continually babbled on about it only being done to aid Ferrari and then completely contradicting himself 30 seconds later.

I'm sure some people will keel over if he wins the title, its hilarious to see how many conspiracy theories people can come up with to discredit Ferrari/Alonso.
