The F1 Thread

It's a brilliant track and they seem to make a good event of it. Probably a good change of rule, it's quite dangerous to be moving suddenly during a braking zone. I just really hope the Mercs get away well to stop the race being ruined

I wonder if Nico will be looking for a bit of revenge on this track and try and copy Lewis and his "aggressive" push from last year. Taking both cars out benefits him and the Constructors is wrapped up so Merc won't be so angry....

Interesting to see the Red Bulls have split the strategy on their drivers, as they will start on different types of tyres

First two corners make for good racing at the starts, but the rest of the track is bog-standard Tilke fayre.

It really isn't. The changes in elevation make it far far better than that. Alright, it isn't Spa, but it is a cracking track.

Routine win for Lewis. Nailed the start this week.

Odd start from Nico, instead of positioning himself to push Lewis he tried to block Riciardo....and failed. Max had a big say in the race when his gear box went and he parked up meaning a VSC was put in place, that allowed Nico to jump Rici to nab 2nd place. Still Nico's championship. he can finish 2nd, 2nd & 3rd and still win the title.

Fantastic stuff at the end with Alonso involved in some proper racing with Massa and Sainz for 5th place. From his "yee hah" over the radio, he enjoyed it as well (might be punished for some wheel contact with Massa though)

Bit of a crap race happening in Mexico due to it being too difficult to overtake. Perez has been stuck behind a Williams for 38 laps despite being clearly quicker

Verstappen almost taking Rosberg out. Bar that it is pretty damn dull and processional.

Start was good...............duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuull.......Max tries a move...........duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuullllllllllll

I love the look of this track, especially the old Baseball Stadium part, but for racing its dull.

With any luck Alonso is going to pass Palmer. A really average driver who has no place in F1.

I thought Palmer has ended the season really strongly considering his car, certainly been matching if not beating Magnussen but I'm not sure how much of a barometer that is

He's certainly looked closeish to Mag, but I don't think he's up to much either.

How have Seb and Danny Ric not spun off there!!

This has got feisty, I do wish Vettel wasn't a little bitch, obviously Max will get penalised so just get on with it

Title alive for another race....shame Lewis is generally naff at Brazil.

The oil barons will be hoping he keeps it alive for the last race. Also sensing Vettel is a bit fucked off
