Big Floyd (loved how mental he was)

I'd be picking Shane Westley if I wanted a bit of a nutcase (he was bloody good before he got injured too...shame he looked like one of the worst footballers ever when he came back and Turner had to patch him off quickly before anyone realised. Wouldn't have liked to tell him he had to go though. Mal Purchase had nothing on him)

Lescott as number 1 is a shoe in (post 70's) Richards vs Curle is a coin toss. I went for Richards as for the second half of the 'Bolton' season and the first half of the next he was probably the best centre half I've ever seen playing for us.

I went to this game. He was a liability, but 'could' be decent. Also indirectly got Tony Butler sacked by WM first time around around so never a bad thing

Jackie McNamara - 33
Lee Naylor - 29
Stephen Ward - 23
Mark Venus - 17
Scott Golbourne - 7
Steve Froggatt - 6

Yes , well done my mate Thommo! Squeak would also have been a worthy winner. Centre halves. Here are my six. Frank will be happy

Munro
Lescott
Richards
Hughes
Mount field
Berry

Tough one I could have said any 4 from 10 after big Frank and Joleon

Incidentally, the Stoke 4-1 game, was that where Deano ended up in goal?

Yes it was, the two goals he conceded were down to him kicking like a flid rather than anything to do with goalkeeping.

Taylor used to name a three outfield player bench quite a lot, never worth the risk.

Derek Mountfield? Interesting choice!

I liked De wolf but he made Danny Batth look like Usain Bolt in the speed stakes and had the turning circle of the Queen Mary.

Didn't matter when he could read the game so well. Pre-injury that is. He was a beast.
