Can we have different votes for numbers 9 and 10 so that they'll be a Beardsley to a Lineker and a Sherringham to a Shearer please?

I was just going to go two from six again...happy to go with whatever the majority want (or at least the majority of whoever pipes up in the next hour or so before I do the midfield results)

Agree with TT, having shearer and bully up front wouldn't make much sense.

I'd say stick with 2 from 6. If people want Shearer and Sheringham, for example, pick them as 1 & 2. Some people may want to go with Shearer and Owen, but neither are them are a '10'

Yeah, #9 vote then #10

Yeah, #9 vote then #10

Other way round if we do it that way. You have to make the bullets before you decide who's firing them :D

My concern really is people will pick someone in the wrong spot and then argue the toss about it, ain't nobody got time for that.

Just pick 6 as normal FFS :icon_lol:

I'm going to say this is the most persuasive argument and we'll go with that. There are loads of strike partnerships that haven't had a support striker or whatever you want to call them.

Paul Scholes - 122
Roy Keane - 113

Paul Gascoigne - 95
Frank Lampard - 68
Steven Gerrard - 55
Bryan Robson - 36
Graeme Souness - 27
Michael Carrick - 13
Colin Bell - 12
Glenn Hoddle - 9
Mike Bailey - 8
Gary Speed - 6
Dele Alli - 5
Alan Ball - 5
Liam Brady - 4
Peter Beardsley - 4
Matt Le Tissier - 4
Alan Hudson - 2
Eric Dier - 1
Scott Parker - 1

So we have England's back four from 2006, and Man Utd's midfield from 1999...

On to the strikers. Six picks, two go through. Up to you if you want to pick a partnership that's viable.
