The Darts Thread

Big slide this year for Adrian Lewis. Not qualified for the GSOD.
He’s been struggling before and after his surgery for his back issue. Also just had another kid (known as the “Neves drop in form”)

Tough group for Hughes, be surprised if he gets out of that. Although Barney not great at the shorter format. Cross and MVG seem to be attached at the hip at the moment.

Group E is the old group of death. Anyone could win that.

Anyone = Peter Wright

I didn't realise Machin was into darts!

If you wanted a seed to be up against, Chisnall would be the one. Dodgy at best and he's done his back in could be barely let the darts go the other week.

First time I’m missing the Grand Slam since it started.

First sesson of the Slam is on Sky Sports Mix which is a nice bonus.

Van Peer has to be the slowest player I have ever seen.

Dartisis, he did amazingly well to win that with the crowd on his back. Gary Anderson will be having kittens about having to play him.

I know - I don't think I have ever seen anyone have it that bad. I am amazed he managed to win. Whitlock was completely mentally shot by it as well by the end.

Anderson will just blow him away I imagine.

I've never seen the like of that either, Anderson is a massive rhythm player so all that stopping and starting will cause him big problems.

Ivan Cavaleiro chant currently doing the rounds at the darts.

Crowd really sticking it to van Peer here. Gotta feel hugely sorry for him, full credit to him for coming out and winning a leg. Now crying poor kid.

Just catching up with the darts. Must be horrible what van Peer is going through. Anderson showed what a class act of a man he is throughout the match.

Just about scraped through, last leg win over Norris who missed tops to win.

Van Peer qualified too, still struggling (not quite as badly as the other day) but showed great fight.

Mensur gives Berry a bit of a shellacking, 10-2. Credit to the Dutch lad, played ok especially with the dartitis. Mensur just far too good.

Taylor annihilated Gurney earlier tonight, then acted like a complete twat in the interview afterwards unsurprisingly. The sooner he retires the better.
