90% of the crowd probably cants differentiate between a crap or excellent game. I tend to watch it on mute nowadays.
 
Lewis out. He's been rank all year but still wouldn't expect him to lose to Kevin Münch.

Munch played really well to be fair to him, quite surprised as he didn't throw anywhere near as well as that in his prelim this evening. Lewis didn't play badly this evening, just didn't play well. And as you say, he's been rank all year. Drops out of the Top 16 now as well and must be a serious doubt for the Premier League.
 

What did people make of this? Pipe appearing to cough loudly, possibly to put his opponent off whilst throwing match darts. Personally I think it was a deliberate act, and he needs to be punished
 
Yep, looked iffy at the time (although I was losing the will to live as the game dragged on and we approached midnight) and watching it back it looks blatant.

Not sure what sanction you could apply though.
 
Just ban him for being so fucking slow so I don’t need to watch him anymore
 
Surely there is a regulation in the tournament rules re coc that could see him expelled? To the casual viewer it looks like outright cheating and certainly experienced ex pros like Mardle and Part were in no doubt that's exactly what it was, even if the former seeing the need to crowbar Manley into it was unnecessary.
 
Why do Bookmakers see the need to try and 'outwacky' each other? It leads to shit like this.

Ladbrokes have apologised and made a donation to Parkinsons UK.

Would say it was clear the person in charge of their account had no idea about his illness but the company did at least act quick when it was pointed out to them.
 
Paul Lim missed double 12 for a nine darter against Anderson. Would have been quite something had he done so, lost 4-1 in the end but great effort.
 
Pipe really riling up the crowd here. Sky having to turn the volume down due to the abuse.
 
Good. It's about time he retired and saved us all the drudgery of watching him play.
 
Unreal game between Peter Wright and Jamie Lewis at the moment. Incredible standard. Lewis 3-1 up...
 
Opted for this over the Newcastle/City game. Think I've made the right choice. Unbelievable standard from both players, Lewis has been magnificent
 
Crazy stuff from both, not sure where Lewis pulled that 121 from. That's at least the 3rd bull finish from him.

That was some pretty awesome stuff from Lewis, kept his composure at the end too when Wright had lost his with those missed doubles.
 
Brilliant from Lewis. Superb performance. And another seed gone from Taylor's half of the draw, it's opening up for him. Although he will more than likely have Anderson in Q-F. One of Jamie Lewis, James Richardson, Antonio Alcinas or Darren Webster will be in the semi-final
 
Alcinas has looked tidy so far but both Reyes and Münch were fucking dreck.

Webster has really stepped his game up in the last 18 months or so.

Anyone but Richardson, the Sport Are Troops moron.
