and not got much better for them since.

Warner and Marsh both hitting 100. Steady opening partnership...

Australia and Pakistan both having 2 defeats is good for England with them both still to play. Not sure this team has it in them to take advantage though, particularly on the bowling side.

Good job they had that 259 opening partnership.

Lost 7 wickets for around a 100 since then

Extras third top scorer in a total of 367

As a Bears fan who endured his performances this Summer, Maxwell is all hype and zero delivery

Good recovery from SA since losing that wicket

Everyone getting loads of tap and this is a road. Going to be looking at 380 I reckon.

England have turned into crap chasers unfortunately wouldn’t back us at all chasing 300+
Wankhede is a notorious batters heaven

Stokes for Livingstone just makes the bowling options worse. You have to play him and realistically you can't drop anyone higher in the order, but with today's changes we've managed to weaken our already long tail and bowling depth. More a victim of circumstance/end of a cycle than mismanagement, but this is going to be one of those long, slow World Cup deaths of old. Our only chance of beating one of the main 5 is one or more of the batsman going off

It’ll probably be as good as over tonight, absolutely no chance this side get past India, Pakistan, Australia unscathed. The last 2-3 games will just be a case of playing the matches.
England could’ve prepared better, having 3 ODI v Ireland in England in September is just brainless. Leave earlier and play warm ups in India.
As we’ve discussed certain players turn from world class to village stuff once they leave England.

The players haven’t played enough fifty over cricket. Simple as that.
I didn’t realise just how little they’d played in the last 12 months. That’s very much on the ECB and just assuming the players can turn on the form tap.
Only way to slow this rate is regular wickets now looks like it’s not a hard pitch to get settled on.
