Constant replays make watching almost impossible unless you sit concentrated throughout. Watching with my parents yesterday and even I didn’t spot Bumraah taking a wicket as they showed him in delivery stride straight after replaying all wickets.

I think the impact of this is relatively small at the moment given the experience of our side, and this comment exaggerates it to point score. BUT, it's only going to get worse with the 50 over game being pushed to the margins both Internationally and domestically. I have a feeling this will prove to be one of the last 3 50 over WCs

It’s a case of some of our players (Woakes) are terrible outside of England, Buttler isn’t a patch on Morgan in regards captaincy, losing the all round skill base of Moeen and Stokes. It all adds up eventually, combine it with an ashes summer it will take its toll. I’m not surprised and I agree with @Tony Towner prep and the 100 are small levels of blame.
Also agree the World Cup will biannual but in a T20 format along with the test championship. The 50 over format is dying a death unfortunately.

He is absolutely right. The ridiculous over promotion of the fucking Hundred will cannibalise all other forms of the game in England bar T20. And nobody else plays the fucking stupid format.

The 50 over tournament was destroyed for it. There was no test cricket whatsoever in the high month of the summer. All for the fucking hundred. Which is shit and about as much cricket as I am Nelson Rockefeller.

You'll be glad to know the 100 has been axed then.

And if any cricket had been played in 'high summer' it would've been washed out.

The 50 over tournament will be back next summer.
