Although it is, there's not a lot of choice given the squad we have out there. You couldn't play Woakes or Curran again and Moeen can't bat. You have to play Stokes and Livingstone has done little in 50 over cricket to keep his place. Everything is on the Top 6

Hindsight being what it is Liam Dawson should have gone, especially after the season he's just had. He would be a genuine batting option at 7 and would have bowled his 10 overs in most games

I don't accept that Woakes and Curran were doomed choices who can't bowl in these conditions, they both get IPL contracts for a start. But neither are in any form.

I don't understand what on earth they thought Willey was going to do out here and Mo looks a complete waste of a spot, if he isn't playing here then when is he going to play.

I agree Dan, but whoever thought that three matches in English autumn conditions against Ireland would get players into World Cup form for India needs bloody shooting. The prep has been an abomination.

No point raging about it, it's a tournament too far for these players but I understand why you'd give them one last shot with all the credit in the bank. They've given us years that we could never have dreamed of.

No doubt the fall guys will be Mott and Buttler from this, Buttler probably is at his end anyway. Nevertheless the men in suits at ECB will pin the blame on them instead of looking at themselves internally.

Topley out of the tournament. Unless by some miracle Archer is fit then I wouldn't bother calling up another seamer, bring in Dawson instead. I don't see Potts or Carse making much of a difference
